La colombe avait raison

Today I was looking at the collages of Max Ernst, and was also reading about his life.

How he has found a voice after World War "not through old strategies of truth-seeking, but through an embrace of the irrational, chaotic, unknowable, and otherworldly—he was particularly drawn to the alternative reality offered by dreams. He embraced their ultimate impenetrability, and this quality of open-ended meaning characterized his approach to artmaking at large."

I chose the below artwork of his to contemplate on and think about the message it brings to us today.
