Today I was looking at one of my older paintings and I realized a pattern and similarity between this painting and some of my current mosaic figure artworks in the making. I noticed I am thinking about and noticing the importance of warm colours next to cold colours in order to create a paradox and a sense of creating a "light in the dark" effect.
